Senior’s Week: Claremont Cruisers

Our team of Doctors and staff were also proud to celebrate Senior’s Week by collaborating with Claremont and its wider community.

Our own Dr. Tom Mildenhall and Clinical Nurse Luci Wright teamed up with the Claremont Cruisers by joining them on their walk along the picturesque Swan River.

Prior to the walk, Dr. Mildenhall and Luci Wright presented a short talk on tips to prevent osteoporosis, which followed with a discussion around the topic by the 15 seniors in attendance.

After the walk, the Claremont Cruisers, Dr Mildenhall and Nurse Luci Wright were treated to a round of coffees at Mobilia Café.

Movember

We are thrilled to announce our specialist GPs Dr. Tom Mildenhall and Dr. Ben Grant are participating in the ‘Movember’ challenge  to inspire conversations and change for health issues faced by men, including prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention.

That’s right – in support of the Movember Foundation, the ‘Docs will be growing their Mo’s to raise awareness on a topic close to our hearts, and to raise the essential funds needed to prevent men dying too young.

Be sure to keep an eye out for the mo’s in the clinic making a difference, and get involved with the special cause by donating here.
