Dr Rebecca Gaudet
I completed my medical degree at UWA, graduating with honours in 2007.
I undertook my hospital residency years at Royal Perth Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital, where I covered a wide variety of specialties, including paediatrics, emergency medicine and geriatrics. I have worked rurally at Kalgoorlie Hospital and Busselton Health Campus, and as a country GP, which has allowed me to experience a wide range of procedural medicine. I have completed a Diploma of Child Health and a Vocational Diploma of Women’s Health, and am experienced in neonatal medicine and resuscitation.
My interests include paediatrics, from neonates to adolescent health, pregnancy planning and management, and contraceptive advice, including mirena insertion and removal. I am experienced in chronic disease management, older adult medicine and skin checks, including skin cancer removals.
I was born and raised in Perth, and have recently relocated back to the city from rural living with my husband and 3 sons.
I love being a GP and the privilege that brings of being involved in my patient’s healthcare, and I am looking forward to forming long-term therapeutic relationships with my patients and their families.
