Dr Tahira Bhatti
I started off my career as a Registered Nurse, I then went on to study postgraduate medicine at the University of Notre Dame in Fremantle.
My interest has always been in the area of women’s health, particularly Obstetrics. I have spent a few years working in both Perth and Sydney where I completed my Advanced Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
I then moved to Albany and worked as a procedural GP Obstetrics Registrar whilst obtaining my GP Fellowship. During all of this, we added two little boys to our family.
I very much enjoy performing minor procedures such as skin excisions and mirena/implanon insertion. I am also available for shared antenatal care and post partum concerns.
We made the move back to Perth early 2021 to enjoy some more sunshine. I continue to work in procedural obstetrics (including performing caesareans) and thoroughly enjoy my regular work in General Practice.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and 2 boys. I also enjoy cooking, drinking wine and planning future holidays.
